What is pay for each click?
Advertisers invest millions of bucks each and every calendar year trying to attain their likely customers. The world wide web has revolutionized the way organizations can get to prospective consumers and the principle of ‘pay for every click’ (ppc) advertising and marketing is a massive aspect of web advertising and marketing.
When the web initial started gaining recognition and the range of sites grew, online advertising was generally minimal to the principle of a company paying X range of dollars to area a established ad or advert banner on a internet site. The proprietor of the internet site received payment to spot the ad on the web page. Even though the agreement may well let the advertiser to location the advert wherever they want on the internet site, the business compensated for the set amount for the ad whether or not or not any person really clicked on the advert to look at what it was promoting, let by yourself purchase nearly anything by means of the ad.
Price tag of advert placement was generally established by the amount of visitors the internet site drew large site visitors internet sites could command a greater advert fee. Whilst this technique nevertheless exists right now, the notion of pay out every click on marketing is one of the most common kinds of on-line advertising due to it really is exceptional appeal and exceptional advert placement with related content.
Several men and women credit score Google with revolutionizing online promoting by introducing Google Adsense in 1999. The technique utilized Google’s present expanding web crawling system that searched the internet for keywords and phrases related to consumer searches and applied it to inserting relevant advertisements along with subject material connected to it. For case in point a organization that marketed vehicle elements could now submit search phrases pertinent to their products to Google alongside with their advert (such as auto restoration, mechanics, motor oil, and many others).
AdSense took it additional by not only permitting their investigation engines to spot relevant advertisements with subject material that was comparable to what the advert was promoting, but by providing the organizations with the adverts a lot more value for their cash. This is in which the spend per click term got it is that means from. Advertisers will not spend a arranged rate to have their adverts appear with content material matching their keyword (though they can pay additional to have their web sites demonstrate up as sponsored investigation outcomes), rather they only shell out Google when an individual really clicks on their ads. This signifies the enterprise will get publicity devoid of spending anything, and only spend when someone clicks on their ads.
By only spending when a person clicks on the advert, it is really expense effective, as well as the total objective of on-line adverts is to in reality get a consumer to click the ad and hopefully obtain what ever is getting offered there. Adsense has also permitted site owners to earnings from ad placements. Owners of web sites can signal up for Adsense and place pertinent adverts all more than their website. Whenever an ad is clicked the advert proprietor pays Adsense and in turn a part of that transaction is provided to the site owner exactly where the advert is positioned.
Shell out per click advertisements have assisted 1000′s of internet sites thrive on ad income alone a lot of websites such as MySpace exist largely on ad earnings generated by way of their membership in the Google Adsense program. Ahead of spend per click on companies could invest countless numbers promoting by themselves on-line and not have a clue if they were producing any money by means of these ads. Now they can track in which a click via was initiated, modify their keywords and phrases to maximize coverage, and get to customers although only spending for all those who click the ad. For site owners and web site entrepreneurs, they can make money by means of their advert plans which as authorized many web sites to about providers a hundred% totally free to their customers although these customers only see adverts that might fascination them.
Basically the PPC principle of advertising and marketing on the web has fully changed the online marketing and advertising video game and makes it possible for everyone from net users and site entrepreneurs to web begin ups and businesses promoting on the web to acquire.

Connected Spend For every Click on Articles
Compose Content articles For Pay For each Click (Ppc) Sites
You can make money by writing articles on Pay Per Click (PPC) sites such as ehow, Bukisa, firehow, Associated Content, hub pages, Triond, Helium, Guruza, Factoidz, Xomba, Constant Content, Examiner, Demand Studios, and so many more!! Some sites are harder to write for. I suggest that you get started by writing for ehow first. It is the best one out there and from my experience, it pays the most too.
Step 1
When you join these free article writing sites, you must choose a user ID. It cannot be changed, so choose well. Some users say to use the same ID name in all the sites you write articles for, so you’ll be recognized and not accused of plagiarism if you copy your articles from one site to another (some allow this and some don’t). I, personally, don’t worry too much about that, I like to be a ghost writer in every site and be different everywhere.
Step 2
Most article sites pay you in Pay Pal, so you will need to get a free Pay Pal account if you don’t already have one. Go to: www.paypal.com to open one. One thing I did in Pay Pal that I suggest is to pay the .00 fee and buy their security key. It really works to prevent hackers from getting into your account, which happened to my first Pay Pal account that I ended up closing. The security key is the best .00 investment I’ve ever made, as long as hackers don’t try to state that my security key is lost when they steal my identity…which has also happened. I still suggest you buy the security key.
Step 3
I joined ehow at the end of July in 2009 and as long as my articles stay on the site, people keep clicking on them and I make money in my Pay Pal account every month. It’s great! Some sites pay by sending a check in the mail. Truth be told, some of my ehow articles have lots of views and no money, but others have very few views and more money. Ehow doesn’t share exactly how it rates its pay, but be patient, and you will see the clicks and money start adding up. Don’t fret if one article gets lots of views and others don’t. Be patient. Remember, at least users ARE looking at your articles and viewing one article often leads to them looking at another one you wrote and so on. It is a domino effect. I suggest you put your highest paying articles as your featured ones in ehow. They will get more exposure that way and more clicks mean more money!
Step 4
Here are some pointers: DON’T ever plagiarize anywhere or you’ll be kicked off the site and your account closed. These sites have sophisticated software programs that search out plagiarism, so make SURE it is YOUR content. Also, other users are aware of stuff they’ve read before and can turn you in.
Step 5
I suggest that you write about subjects you know well at first to get your creative juices flowing. Remember, the more interesting, current, and “rare” the subject is, the more money you may make by users clicking to view the articles. Write subjects pertaining to current news, current seasonal subjects, or other popular things. Write out of season topics when you’ve exhausted your current ideas. Read the newspaper and magazines for ideas of what is popular.
Step 6
Something good to know is that it takes about 1 to 2 months for your articles to get into the Google search engine. Keep writing and writing about everything though. Time flies and you’ll start seeing more clicks on your older articles as time goes by. I now try to write seasonal articles a couple months ahead of when they will be more popular so that they are hopefully in Google by the time that season is here.
Step 7
If you run out of ideas, go to the subjects list on the left hand side and see if any ideas pop into your head from there. Read some 5 star articles on subjects you know about. Then write even better articles than those writers did!
Step 8
Many writers start an article and SAVE it to go back to later and write it when their ideas are flowing better. Note that Ehow, Bukisa, and Firehow aren’t as picky with spelling and grammar as other article writing sites are such as Helium, Associated Content, and Hub Pages, etc. If you like writing poetry and stories, I suggest you write for Triond.
Step 9
Be specific and cover all angles of your subject when you write, so the reader clearly understands all aspects. I must say, I’ve found plenty of well written articles in ehow, Bukisa, and firehow, and also some that are kind of sloppy and vague. State the obvious sometimes, too, because what is obvious to you may be new to someone else. For instance, when I look up Bread Machine recipe articles, I rarely see a baked loaf weight, so I don’t know what to set my bread machine at. Do I set it for a 1 lb. loaf, or a 1 1/2 lb. loaf, or a 2 lb. loaf? If recipes aren’t clear about that, I can’t really use the recipe. So try to write your articles as if you are talking to an eighth grade level audience, so many more readers will understand what you are talking about. If you are intellectual and talk over people’s heads, they won’t bother reading your articles.
Step 10
Don’t leave negative comments on others articles, or it may come back to haunt you. It is best to email the writer and be diplomatic about it, or just ignore it and go to the next article. Let someone else be the “bad guy.” Good comments are always welcomed and other traffic will be able to read what you said and may look your articles up. Be sure to rate articles with the stars under the titles too. 5 stars mean an excellent rating!
Step 11
Many users suggest writing articles in a Word document first and then copying and pasting your steps into the ehow form. I didn’t do this at first, but I like doing this now if the article is a bigger one, but don’t ALWAYS write them in Word first. I do like the spell check aspect of using Word. If you are a terrible speller, I suggest you use Word first. FYI, Bukisa has a spell check button. Use it.
Step 12
Write an article as timeless unless it is about a certain event that happened on a certain day, of course, like, “How to remember 9/11/2001.” If you write titles with dates in them like “How to Celebrate New Year’s Day 2009,” users won’t choose it after that. I know I don’t. Leave out dates inside the article too, when possible. Talk about “writing to the President” on President’s Day instead of “writing to President Bush” because if you wrote it like that when Bush was President, it is out of date now. I see many articles that need to be re-written that are like this.
Step 13
You can put pictures in your ehow articles to “spice them up.” Many users say this is an absolute necessity. I don’t think that including pics in every article necessarily makes much difference as far as PPC goes; because my top ehow paying article is a ”to the point” shorter one and has no pictures. To get an idea and see what I mean, click:

NOTE: If you want to put pictures in your firehow articles, they only use photobucket.com to do this. Click on the “add photo” icon in Bukisa to add a picture from a folder.
Step 14
A helpful hint is to choose good keyword tags that are higher in pay rank. Think like you are a person looking up your article subject and choose keywords that they would more likely put in a Google search. I do this in Bukisa, but I’ve recently learned about implementing Adwords also in ehow tags and by using the Adwords Keyword Tool you can choose keywords that get higher Pay Per Click rates. These are search words people click at more often. Here is a great link to see what words are worth what dollar amount in keyword searches. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
You yourself can also think like a Thesaurus and put similar words in of your subject, also, if a word can be spelled differently, put the “misspelling” in too, like “Jell-O” and “Jello” or “Christmas” and “X-mas.” You can always go back and edit the tags later too. I’ve edited some of my earlier articles, because I was a little “green” starting out.
Step 15
Also, any recipe articles I’ve written that are good to make during the holidays, I’ve gone back and included the word, “holidays” or “Christmas” in your tags. This helps views immensely! TIP: in Bukisa you are limited to 15 tags. I’m only able to put 14 in and figure Bukisa puts the 15th one in. Also, in Bukisa, start your first tag with a word that has more than 3 letters, it doesn’t seem to like words 3 letters or less for the first word.
Step 16
Don’t put your entire article writing “eggs” in one basket or site, so-to-speak, in case one site goes down-spread out your work to several. Once you’ve gotten used to using ehow and have a lot of articles written on it, I suggest that you then go to www.bukisa.com and www.firehow.com and copy and paste some of your articles there too. You can do that since they are YOUR articles. One thing to note though is that Bukisa has a 250 word limit and ehow accepts articles that are fewer words than that, so you may have to embellish or add information in order to meet the word limit. Firehow has a limit of 400 words, I believe, but I’ve been able to put articles there that are less. Firehow actually publishes articles within seconds of submission, just so you know. Bukisa usually publishes new articles within a day or so, but also note that they have a limit of 25 articles written per day. They will let you know if there is something that needs editing if one has been turned down. Just fix it and resubmit it and it will usually publish the next day. TIP: I leave my higher PPC articles in ehow and don’t put them in other PPC sites, so that in a Google search a person will click on my article in ehow instead of a lower PPC site.
Step 17
To get your Bukisa articles more views, go to the dashboard and click the RSS feed button. Once you do that, the articles tend to go into the Google search pool faster. In ehow and Bukisa, you can click on the “share” button and put your articles on your networking sites such as Facebook.com, Myspace.com, Friendster.com, Twitter.com, etc. for more traffic to open it. If you have a blog or website, put links of those higher paying articles on there too!
Step 18
Another way to get more views is to join sites like digg.com, shetoldme.com, stumbleupon.com, reddit.com, delicious.com, technorati.com, etc. You can also utilize network sites like ping.it and ping.fm to get more views on your articles.
Step 19
Here is great PPC site at www.sharapic.net that you can utilize if you have any vintage photographs you want to share with a world of interested genealogists, history buffs, and/or photographers. Your old photos shouldn’t be hidden away in a dusty old shoe box in the attic. Someone out there is looking for what you have and you get paid for the clicks they get. Scan them into your computer, upload them to the PPC site, get paid, and now they are safe from natural hazards too. The pay is 22 cents per 1,000 views on each photo. It may not seem like much at first, but it is better than the nothing you make on them if they’re only stored in your attic. By the way, if you want more info on doing genealogy, check out my article at: http://www.ehow.com/how_6132205_do-tree-genealogy-ancestry-research.html
Step 20
Lastly, may I suggest that you go back to your articles to double and triple check them even AFTER they are published in order to correct mistakes or edit anything that may have changed or to add any additional steps that come along. This may even increase money you make on them. Read your higher money making articles and see what makes them stand out to the ehow staff and try to write more articles like it. If you make more money writing articles on health, write more of those, if you make more on fixing computers, write more on that subject. Don’t just write an article and forget about it. Treat it like your baby and keep trying to make it better and better.
Step 21
Keep on writing! Make it fun. Be yourself. You have a vast experience and knowledge. Share it! Keep paper and pen handy so you can jot down ideas as they come to you for articles. More articles written means more PPC’s. Good luck and Happy Writing!
